Espero haber aclarado tu duda.

I just finished cleaning ...It took over a week, but I just finished cleaning up and posting the entirety of KING CLASSICS #14 / "THE GOLD BUG". I love the coloring in this thing-- you just didn't see color like this in US comics in the 70s.

I currently have 4 entirely different comics versions of "THE GOLD BUG" posted, along with links to the Vincent Price recording and the "Family Theater" radio episode.

http://professorhswaybackmachine.blogspot.com/2015/04/poe-1973-pt-5.html

I've also found a 2nd online article detailing the history of JVJ.

http://seronoser.free.fr/bruguera/joyasliterariasjuveniles.htm

A couple of minor discrepencies: the other article lists 269 issues, and elsewhere mentions a "never published" 270th issue. Further, the ad on the back of my copy lists 32 stories translated into English, not 24. (With information on these being so hard to track down, it's hard to be sure what's accurate. Next-to-nothing of any of these editions have been posted at the Grand Comics Database site yet.)

Finally, I thought I'd mention that according to the indicia in the comic, the US editions were published & printed in SPAIN. My guess is, this allowed Bruguera to maintain tighter quality control.

If you have any idea if "THE GOLD BUG" has been reprinted in any of the later collections, please let me know! I'd like to add the covers of any such books to my blog.

6-1/2 months on this project, and I keep finding new items. It feels like I'm only getting started! Take care.Henry R. How u can see, the artist of the issue was Antonio Bernal, with whom I was the great pleasure of talk by phone for an interview, a few months before his death. If you click over the link with his own name, can read that highly interesting interview.

Greetings!!! Information about this series has been difficult to come by (as an example, the GCD has only 3 covers posted, and no indexes, out of the 270 issues).

I just got my hands on what seems like one of the only available copies of KING CLASSICS #14 / "The Gold Bug", and I'll definitely be posting a link to your blog as part of my blog POE project. Among other things, I wasn't completely sure who the cover artist was, until I found your list.Henry R.
